We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Rome for campus films, ballpark content, downtown fly-throughs, events and brand content. Between the Rivers

Downtown Rome sits where the Etowah and Oostanaula rivers meet to form the Coosa. FPV lines along Broad Street, past the Clocktower and over the confluence show the whole layout in one take. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Berry, Shorter and ballpark nights

Berry College's campus covers about 27,000 acres, which the college calls the largest in the world, and Shorter University sits on its hill across town. We film campus, admissions and athletics content with each school's approval, and ballpark and tournament content at AdventHealth Stadium with the team's approval. Airspace

Richard B. Russell Regional Airport, north of the city, has no control tower. We check every Rome location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

Georgia drone law

Georgia law makes it a misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over the event, with an exception for FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get the organizer's consent in writing anyway, because the venue and promoter control launch spots and crowd areas. State law limits how far cities and counties can write their own drone rules, but event permits, venue contracts and property owners still decide where a crew can launch, so we plan around all three.

Can you film Berry College with an FPV drone?

Yes, with the college's approval. We plan campus, admissions and athletics shots with the school before the shoot.

Can you film a ticketed show in Rome?

Yes, with the organizer's consent. Georgia law bars drone flights within 400 feet of a gated ticketed event without it, so we get written consent first.

Can a Georgia city ban your drone shoot?

Mostly no. State law preempts most local drone rules, but a city can still control commercial launches and landings on its own property, so we confirm launch spots in Rome.

Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?

Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
