We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Madison for arena and game day content, festival FPV, campus tours and brand films. Arenas and game days

Our crew flew drones inside Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle to film Paramore's 2023 show. Inside the Kohl Center we fly small drones with the venue's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours. Camp Randall Stadium is on the FAA stadium list, so the 3 nautical mile flight restriction applies from an hour before to an hour after covered events.

Campus and festivals

Flights on University of Wisconsin-Madison property need the university's written permission, so we arrange campus shoots well ahead. Lakeside and downtown festivals are flown inside the organizer's plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. Truax Field and parks

Dane County Regional Airport, Truax Field, has Class C airspace from the surface to 4,900 feet within 5 miles, which takes in much of north and east Madison. City of Madison parks allow drones unless a park is posted otherwise, under the city's drone ordinance and FAA rules. We check every Madison location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.

Can you fly FPV inside the Kohl Center?

Yes, with the venue's approval and a flight plan agreed with production, security and lighting.

Can you fly at Camp Randall Stadium on event days?

Not inside the FAA stadium flight restriction, which covers 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after covered events, unless we are part of the approved production.

Can you fly FPV on the UW campus?

Only with the university's written permission, so we arrange campus shoots well ahead.

Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?

Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
