Green Bay, WI FPV Drone Pilot and Operator

FPV drone pilot in Green Bay

We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Green Bay for arena content, venue and office fly-throughs, festivals and brand films. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our Green Bay, WI drone videographer page.

Arenas, venues and offices

Our crew flew five days of live coverage, live to FOX, at the FIFA Fan Festival Atlanta. Inside the Resch Center we fly small drones with the venue's approval. Offices and venues suit one-take FPV tours with the owner's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Lambeau Field and Titletown

Lambeau Field is on the FAA stadium list, so the 3 nautical mile flight restriction applies from an hour before to an hour after covered events. Titletown's own rules prohibit drones on the property, so any aerial work there must be arranged with the Packers. Festivals are flown inside the organizer's production plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US. For event coverage see Green Bay, WI live event drones.

Airspace and parks

Green Bay Austin Straubel International southwest of the city has Class C airspace during its published hours, so many Green Bay addresses need LAANC or FAA authorization. Wisconsin DNR rules prohibit drones in state parks, state recreation areas, state natural areas and some state forests unless an area is posted for drone use or the property manager issues a permit, and commercial filming on state land needs a commercial use permit. We check every Green Bay location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.

FAQs

Can you fly inside the Resch Center?

Yes, with the venue's approval and a flight plan agreed with production, security and lighting.

Can you fly FPV at Titletown?

Not without the Packers. Titletown rules prohibit drones on the property, so any aerial work there is arranged with them first.

Can you fly at Lambeau Field on event days?

Not inside the FAA stadium flight restriction, which covers 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after covered events, unless we are part of the approved production.

Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?

Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
