Fresno, CA FPV Drone Pilot and Operator

FPV drone pilot in Fresno

We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Fresno for farm and packing plant fly-throughs, game day content, fairs and brand films. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our Fresno, CA drone videographer page.

Farms and packing plants

Our crew flew five days of live coverage, live to FOX, at the FIFA Fan Festival Atlanta. Orchards, packing houses and processing plants suit low, continuous FPV lines for sales, recruiting and food safety films, flown with the owner's approval and a plan agreed with safety staff. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Game days and the fair

Fresno State football at Valley Children's Stadium falls under the FAA stadium flight restriction for large college games, which covers 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after the event, so game day FPV happens only inside an approved production. The Big Fresno Fair is flown inside the organizer's plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US. For event coverage see Fresno, CA live event drones.

Airspace and military traffic

Fresno Yosemite International has Class C airspace and shares its runways with the California Air National Guard's 144th Fighter Wing, and Naval Air Station Lemoore to the southwest adds more military jet traffic. Wildfire temporary flight restrictions can close large areas in summer and fall, and flying into one is illegal. We check every Fresno location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.
