San Jose
FPV drone pilot in San Jose
We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in San Jose for tech campus fly-throughs, product launches, arena content and brand films. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our San Jose, CA drone videographer page.
Tech campuses and product launches
Our crew flew an indoor micro-drone fly-through of the Tempo by Hilton hotel in Times Square, through its lobbies and rooms. Silicon Valley offices, labs and showrooms suit the same one-take approach for recruiting, launch and investor films, flown with the owner's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.
Arenas and conventions
Inside SAP Center and the San Jose McEnery Convention Center we fly small FPV drones with the venue's approval and a plan agreed with production. Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara is on the FAA stadium list, so the 3 nautical mile flight restriction applies from an hour before to an hour after covered events. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US. For event coverage see San Jose, CA live event drones.
Airspace
San Jose Mineta International's Class C airspace covers most of the city center, and Reid-Hillview Airport on the east side has its own control tower. We check every San Jose location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.
