Cleveland, OH FPV Drone Pilot and Operator

FPV drone pilot in Cleveland

We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Cleveland for concert and arena FPV, venue fly-throughs and brand films. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our Cleveland, OH drone videographer page.

Concerts and arenas

Our crew flew sub-100-gram livestream drones for UNITY at the Sphere in Las Vegas, with the live feed shown on its immersive screen. Cleveland arenas, theaters and concert halls suit the same sub-250-gram approach with the venue's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US. For event coverage see Cleveland, OH live event drones.

Game days and festivals

Huntington Bank Field and Progressive Field are on the FAA stadium list, so the 3 nautical mile flight restriction applies from an hour before to an hour after covered events. Lakefront festivals are flown inside the organizer's plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes.

Parks, federal sites and airspace

Cleveland Metroparks allows drones only in designated areas, and filming needs a separate special event permit. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is National Park Service land, where launching or landing a drone is prohibited without the superintendent's written approval. The Marine Forces Reserve training center in Brook Park is a federal no-drone area around the clock. Cleveland Hopkins International has Class B airspace, and Burke Lakefront at the edge of downtown has its own controlled airspace. We check every Cleveland location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.
