Eugene drone videography
We fly Ducks game days, track and field at Hayward Field, host of the 2022 World Athletics Championships, concerts at the Cuthbertson Amphitheater, campus and corporate projects, construction progress and real estate across Eugene and Springfield. For concerts and stadium events we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens; see live broadcast drones and concert and festival drones.
Mahlon Sweet Field airspace
Eugene Airport, Mahlon Sweet Field, northwest of the city has a control tower and Class D airspace during tower hours. We check every Eugene location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
Autzen Stadium and Matthew Knight Arena
Autzen Stadium is on the FAA stadium list, so the 3 nautical mile flight restriction applies from an hour before to an hour after covered events. We get University of Oregon approval before flying Hayward Field or any campus venue. Inside Matthew Knight Arena we fly small drones with the venue's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.
Oregon drone law and parks
Oregon treats flying below 400 feet over critical infrastructure as a violation unless the operator is FAA-authorized or has the owner's consent, and property owners can sue over repeated low flights after notice. Oregon State Parks and the ocean shore are closed to drones except at designated drone operation sites or with a special use permit. We keep neighbors and people on private property out of frame unless they agree to be filmed.

Do you need FAA approval to fly in Eugene?
It depends on the address. Eugene Airport has a control tower and Class D airspace northwest of the city. We check every location on the FAA sectional and B4UFLY before quoting and file LAANC where it is needed.
Can you fly near Autzen Stadium on game days?
Not inside the FAA stadium flight restriction, which covers 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after covered events. We schedule nearby shoots outside that window.
Can you film at Hayward Field?
Yes, with University of Oregon and event approval. We plan track meet flights around athletes, crowds and any broadcast crew.
Can you fly in Oregon state parks?
Only at designated drone sites or with a special use permit. Oregon State Parks and the ocean shore are otherwise closed to drones.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
