Boise
Boise drone videography
We fly stadium events, university campuses, festivals, construction progress and real estate across Boise and the Treasure Valley. For festivals and concerts we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens; see live broadcast drones and concert and festival drones.
Airports and military airspace
Boise Airport sits under Class C airspace south of downtown, and the Air National Guard base at Gowen Field is a federal no-drone area. Restricted airspace south of Boise is active by notice, and Mountain Home Air Force Base to the southeast is also a federal no-drone area. We check every Boise location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
Stadiums and Idaho law
Albertsons Stadium is on the FAA stadium list, so the 3 nautical mile flight restriction applies from an hour before to an hour after covered events. Idaho law requires written consent to target and record specific people, their homes or farms and commercial property with a drone, and to record a person for publication, so we collect signed releases before the shoot.
Parks and foothills
Idaho state parks allow drones only where the park manager authorizes them, which covers Lucky Peak near Boise. Wildfire temporary flight restrictions can close large areas in summer and fall, and flying into one is illegal.

FAQs
Do you need FAA approval to fly in Boise?
It depends on the address. Boise Airport's Class C airspace and Gowen Field are close to downtown. We check every location on the FAA sectional and B4UFLY before quoting and file LAANC where it is needed.
Can you fly near Mountain Home Air Force Base?
No. Mountain Home is a federal no-drone area, and restricted airspace nearby can be active. We plan rural shoots well clear of it.
Can you fly near Albertsons Stadium on game days?
Not inside the FAA stadium flight restriction, which covers 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after covered events. We schedule nearby shoots outside that window.
Do you need releases to film people in Idaho?
Yes. Idaho requires written consent to record specific people or private property with a drone for publication, so we collect signed releases.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
