Spokane
Spokane drone videography
We fly arena shows, downtown festivals, college sports, construction progress and real estate across Spokane and the Inland Northwest. For concerts and festivals we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens; see live broadcast drones and concert and festival drones.
Airports and Fairchild
Spokane International sits under Class C airspace west of downtown, and Felts Field to the east has its own control tower and Class D airspace. Fairchild Air Force Base west of the city has its own Class C airspace and is a federal no-drone area, closed from the ground to 400 feet around the clock. Grand Coulee Dam to the west is one of the federal no-drone areas, closed from the ground to 400 feet around the clock. We check every Spokane location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
Riverfront Park and city parks
Spokane city parks, including Riverfront Park, generally allow drone flights flown safely under FAA rules, but commercial filming in a city park needs a city filming permit and fee, which we arrange before the shoot.
State parks and wildfire season
Washington State Parks allow drones only in designated areas or with written permission from the park, and commercial filming goes through the State Parks filming application, which should be filed well ahead of the shoot. That covers Riverside State Park and Mount Spokane State Park. Wildfire temporary flight restrictions can close large areas in summer and fall, and flying into one is illegal.

FAQs
Do you need FAA approval to fly in Spokane?
It depends on the address. Spokane International and Felts Field both have controlled airspace near the city. We check every location on the FAA sectional and B4UFLY before quoting and file LAANC where it is needed.
Can you fly near Fairchild Air Force Base?
No. Fairchild is a federal no-drone area with its own Class C airspace. We plan west-side shoots well clear of the base.
Can you film in Riverfront Park?
Yes. Commercial filming in Spokane city parks needs a city filming permit, which we arrange before the shoot.
Can you fly in Washington state parks?
Only in designated areas or with written permission from the park, and commercial filming needs a State Parks filming application.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
