Live event drones in Hinesville

This page is for event producers, promoters and venues planning a live event in Hinesville. We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. For homes, tourism and general aerials see our Hinesville, GA drone videographer page. Our headquarters is in Augusta, so Georgia shoots are planned by our home crew.

Bryant Commons and events

Our crew flew aerials for the All Things Go Music Festival at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens. Bryant Commons, a 150-acre park with an amphitheater, a pond and the Veterans Memorial Walk, is the city's main event space. For concerts, festivals and community events we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.

Coastal Liberty County

East of Hinesville, Liberty County reaches the marshes and tidal rivers of the Georgia coast, where waterfront homes and land sell best from the air. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Fort Stewart airspace and Georgia law

Fort Stewart is covered by a permanent FAA drone restriction from the surface to 400 feet, and restricted airspace over its training ranges starts at the ground. Wright Army Airfield, which also serves as MidCoast Regional Airport, has Class D airspace during its posted hours, and many grid squares near the field need an FAA DroneZone request rather than automatic LAANC approval. Georgia law makes it a misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over the event, with an exception for FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get the organizer's consent in writing anyway, because the venue and promoter control launch spots and crowd areas. We check every Hinesville location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.

FAQs

Can you fly over Fort Stewart?

No. Fort Stewart is covered by a permanent FAA drone restriction from the surface to 400 feet.

Can you fly an event at Bryant Commons?

Yes, with the organizer's approval and an airspace check, since many grid squares near Wright Army Airfield need an FAA DroneZone request.

Can you film a ticketed show in Hinesville?

Yes, with the organizer's consent. Georgia law bars drone flights within 400 feet of a gated ticketed event without it, so we get written consent first.

Can you send a live drone feed to screens or a stream?

Yes. We send live drone video to LED screens, the livestream or a broadcast truck, and agree the format and cue points with your production team before show day.

What insurance do you carry?

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
