Tucson
FPV drone pilot in Tucson
We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Tucson for resort and golf content, festival FPV, campus films and brand launches. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our Tucson, AZ drone videographer page.
Festivals and concerts
Our crew flew FPV over Kinetic Field at EDC Orlando in 2022. Tucson's festivals and concerts suit the same close FPV lines, flown inside the organizer's production plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US. For event coverage see Tucson, AZ live event drones.
Resorts, golf and campuses
Desert resorts and golf courses in the foothills suit one-take FPV from lobby to pool and low lines over fairways, flown with the property's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours. Arizona Stadium, listed by the FAA as Casino Del Sol Stadium, is on the FAA stadium list, so the 3 nautical mile flight restriction applies from an hour before to an hour after covered events.
Davis-Monthan and federal sites
Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Air Force Plant 44, the Air National Guard base at Tucson International, the Army site at Marana and the federal prison complex in Tucson are federal no-drone areas around the clock. Saguaro National Park is National Park Service land, where launching or landing a drone is prohibited without the superintendent's written approval. We check every Tucson location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.

FAQs
Can you fly FPV inside a Tucson resort?
Yes, with the owner's approval and a route agreed with staff. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules.
Can you fly FPV near Davis-Monthan Air Force Base?
No. It is a federal no-drone area around the clock, so we plan launch points well clear of it.
Can you fly FPV in Saguaro National Park?
Not without the superintendent's written approval. It is National Park Service land.
Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?
Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
