We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in McDonough for festival recaps, logistics and leasing content, shop fly-throughs and brand films. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. The square and the Geranium Festival
McDonough Square is the center of downtown, and each May it fills for the Geranium Festival, the Henry County arts and crafts festival on the square. An FPV line around the square shows the courthouse, the shops and the crowd in one move. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. Logistics and shops
The warehouses and distribution centers along I-75 in Henry County need shots that show truck courts, access and scale for leasing and progress reporting. For restaurants and shops an indoor one-take fly-through shows the room the way a guest sees it. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.
Race days and airspace
Major NASCAR races at EchoPark Speedway, formerly Atlanta Motor Speedway, in nearby Hampton bring an FAA flight restriction within 3 nautical miles of the track, from an hour before to an hour after the event. Atlanta Speedway Airport in Hampton has no control tower. We check every McDonough location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
Georgia drone law
Georgia law makes it a misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over the event, with an exception for FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get the organizer's consent in writing anyway, because the venue and promoter control launch spots and crowd areas. State law limits how far cities and counties can write their own drone rules, but event permits, venue contracts and property owners still decide where a crew can launch, so we plan around all three.

Can you fly FPV at the Geranium Festival?
With the organizers' and city's approval, on a route that keeps clear of the crowd unless our waivers allow otherwise.
Can you fly near EchoPark Speedway on race day?
Not inside the FAA flight restriction around the track during major races. We schedule nearby shoots outside those windows.
Can you film a ticketed show in McDonough?
Yes, with the organizer's consent. Georgia law bars drone flights within 400 feet of a gated ticketed event without it, so we get written consent first.
Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?
Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
