Hartford
FPV drone pilot in Hartford
We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Hartford for corporate and plant fly-throughs, golf content, game day content and brand films. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our Hartford, CT drone videographer page.
Offices and plants
Our crew filmed aerials of The Independent, the Austin tower known as the Jenga building, for Science Channel's Impossible Engineering. Hartford's insurance offices, aerospace plants and downtown towers suit one-take FPV for recruiting and brand films, flown with the owner's approval and a plan agreed with safety staff. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.
Golf and game days
Golf clubs and tournaments suit low FPV lines over fairways with the club's permission. Pratt and Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford is on the FAA stadium list, so the 3 nautical mile flight restriction applies from an hour before to an hour after covered events. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.
Federal sites and airspace
The Bradley Air National Guard Base at Bradley International is a federal no-drone area around the clock. Bradley International has Class C airspace, and Hartford-Brainard Airport, about 3 miles southeast of downtown, has its own control tower, so many Hartford addresses need LAANC. We check every Hartford location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.
