Game days and campus
Our crew flew drones inside Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle to film Paramore's 2023 show. Memorial Stadium draws huge crowds on football Saturdays, and the FAA's stadium flight restriction applies within 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after major games. We plan tailgate, town and campus content around those windows and around university approvals.
Campus, downtown and venues
Clemson University's campus and downtown Clemson suit admissions, recruiting and business films. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours. Festivals and concerts are flown inside the organizer's production plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. Lake Hartwell, airspace and state law
Lake Hartwell is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lake, so flights from or over Corps land need the Corps' approval. Lake homes are usually filmed from private property. Oconee County Regional Airport, about three miles west of Clemson, has no control tower. South Carolina's Act 150, set to take effect January 1, 2027, makes it a crime to knowingly fly within 1,500 feet of a military installation or a prison or jail without written permission, so we plan routes around those sites. We check every Clemson location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.

Can you fly near Memorial Stadium on game days?
Not inside the FAA stadium flight restriction, which covers 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after covered events. We schedule nearby shoots outside that window.
Can you fly FPV over Lake Hartwell?
Flights from or over Army Corps of Engineers land need the Corps' approval, so lake homes are usually filmed from private property.
Is there a control tower near Clemson?
No. Oconee County Regional Airport, about three miles west of Clemson, has no control tower.
Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?
Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
