Festivals and concerts
Our crew flew FPV over Kinetic Field at EDC Orlando in 2022. Boise's downtown festivals and concerts suit close FPV inside the organizer's production plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. Game days and venues
Albertsons Stadium is on the FAA stadium list, so the 3 nautical mile flight restriction applies from an hour before to an hour after covered events. Venues, offices and campus buildings suit one-take FPV tours with the owner's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.
Airports and military airspace
Boise Airport sits under Class C airspace south of downtown, and the Air National Guard base at Gowen Field is a federal no-drone area. Mountain Home Air Force Base to the southeast is also a federal no-drone area. Wildfire temporary flight restrictions can close large areas in summer and fall, and flying into one is illegal. We check every Boise location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.

Can you fly at Albertsons Stadium on event days?
Not inside the FAA stadium flight restriction, which covers 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after covered events, unless we are part of the approved production.
Can you fly FPV at a Boise festival?
Yes, inside the organizer's production plan, with FAA authorization where the site needs it.
Can you fly FPV near Gowen Field?
No. The Air National Guard base there is a federal no-drone area.
Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?
Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
