Festivals and Riverfront Park

Our crew has flown live broadcast and FPV drone coverage at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. Spokane's downtown festivals suit the same coverage inside the organizer's plan. Spokane city parks, including Riverfront Park, generally allow drone flights flown safely under FAA rules, but commercial filming in a city park needs a city filming permit and fee, which we arrange before the shoot. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. Arenas and college sports

Arenas, gyms and venues suit small FPV drones and one-take tours with the venue's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Airports and Fairchild

Spokane International sits under Class C airspace west of downtown, and Felts Field to the east has its own control tower and Class D airspace. Fairchild Air Force Base west of the city has its own Class C airspace and is a federal no-drone area, closed from the ground to 400 feet around the clock. We check every Spokane location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.
