West Palm Beach
Art, events and resorts
Galleries, art fairs, resorts and luxury events suit brand films and recaps, filmed with the venue's approval. For events, concerts and festivals we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens; see live broadcast drones and concert and festival drones. For lobbies and venues an indoor one-take fly-through shows the space in a single shot; see indoor fly-through tours.
Palm Beach and VIP restrictions
When the President is in Palm Beach, the FAA issues VIP temporary flight restrictions that ban most drone flights across a wide area, so we check NOTAMs for the shoot day and reschedule if one is active. Florida's drone privacy law protects people on private property who cannot be seen from the ground, so we keep neighbors out of frame or get their consent.
Florida drone law
Florida Statute 330.41 bars drone flights over critical infrastructure such as substations, water plants, seaports, airports and military sites unless the flight is a commercial one that follows FAA rules or the owner consents in writing, and it bars flights over K-12 schools, so we plan routes around both. The Port of Palm Beach falls under that law, and Coast Guard Station Lake Worth Inlet is a federal no-drone area.
Airspace
Palm Beach International, just west of downtown, has a control tower and covers much of the city, so many addresses need LAANC. We check every West Palm Beach location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

FAQs
Can you fly in Palm Beach when the President is there?
Usually not. VIP temporary flight restrictions ban most drone flights nearby, so we check NOTAMs and move the date if one is active.
Do you film estates and luxury real estate?
Yes, with the owner's approval and with neighbors kept out of frame under Florida privacy law.
Do you need FAA approval to fly in West Palm Beach?
It depends on the address. Palm Beach International has a control tower near downtown. We check every location on the FAA sectional and B4UFLY before quoting and file LAANC where it is needed.
Can you fly near power plants, ports or schools in Florida?
Only within Florida Statute 330.41. It restricts drone flights over critical infrastructure and K-12 schools, so we plan routes around them or get the owner's written consent.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
