Statesboro
FPV drone pilot in Statesboro
We fly FPV and small cinewhoop drones in Statesboro for athletics and campus content, venue fly-throughs, events and brand films. FPV adds close, fast, continuous moves that a standard camera drone cannot get, flown by pilots who rehearse each line first. For general aerials, homes and events see our Statesboro, GA drone videographer page. Our headquarters is in Augusta, so Georgia shoots are planned by our home crew.
Georgia Southern and Paulson Stadium
Our crew flew a one-take micro-drone fly-through of the Camp EDC campground in 2024. Georgia Southern University's Statesboro campus and Paulson Stadium, home of Eagles football, are the center of the city's calendar. We film campus, admissions and athletics content, from a rise over the stadium to video board packages, with the university's approval.
Downtown, parks and venues
Downtown Statesboro and Mill Creek Regional Park, which hosts tournaments and community events, suit aerial recaps. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See FPV drones for live broadcast, Indoor arena FPV drones and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US. For event coverage see Statesboro, GA live event drones.
Growth, airspace and Georgia law
The Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant in neighboring Bryan County has brought new homes, suppliers and industrial sites to the region. Statesboro-Bulloch County Airport has no control tower. Georgia law makes it a misdemeanor to fly within 400 feet of or above a gated, ticketed music, sports or performing arts event without consent from whoever has authority over the event, with an exception for FAA-authorized operators flying lawfully. We get the organizer's consent in writing anyway, because the venue and promoter control launch spots and crowd areas. State law limits how far cities and counties can write their own drone rules, but event permits, venue contracts and property owners still decide where a crew can launch, so we plan around all three. We check every Statesboro location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.

FAQs
Can you fly FPV at a Georgia Southern game?
Only with the university's approval and outside any flight restriction that covers the event.
Can you film industrial sites near Statesboro?
Yes. We film subdivisions, farmland and industrial property with stills for listings and progress reports.
Can you film a ticketed show in Statesboro?
Yes, with the organizer's consent. Georgia law bars drone flights within 400 feet of a gated ticketed event without it, so we get written consent first.
Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?
Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
