Our crew flew sub-100-gram livestream drones for UNITY at the Sphere in Las Vegas, with the live feed shown on its immersive screen. We fly Fargodome events, concerts, college sports, downtown festivals, ag and corporate sites, construction progress and real estate across Fargo and the Red River Valley. For concerts and stadium events we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens; see live broadcast drones and concert and festival drones.
Hector International and the Air Guard
Hector International has Class D airspace from the surface to 3,400 feet above sea level within about 4.4 miles of the airport, which takes in much of north Fargo. The North Dakota Air National Guard's wing is based at the airport. We check every Fargo location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
Fargodome and arenas
For Fargodome concerts and North Dakota State game days we work with the venue and check for any temporary flight restriction before the event. Inside the dome and other arenas we fly small drones with the venue's approval. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.
North Dakota state parks
North Dakota Parks and Recreation rules prohibit drones on department land for hobby, recreational or commercial use unless the director or deputy director authorizes the flight. We request that authorization before any park shoot. We keep neighbors and people on private property out of frame unless they agree to be filmed.

Do you need FAA approval to fly in Fargo?
It depends on the address. Hector International has Class D airspace that covers much of north Fargo. We check every location on the FAA sectional and B4UFLY before quoting and file LAANC where it is needed.
Can you fly inside the Fargodome?
Yes, with the venue's approval. Indoor flights use small drones and a set flight plan.

Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
