Resorts and events
Our crew flies EDC Las Vegas as a three-pilot drone team, with over-the-crowd drones fed into the Hulu live stream. Reno's casino resorts and special events suit close FPV and one-take fly-throughs inside the venue's production plan. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. Races and game days
Mackay Stadium is on the FAA stadium list, so the 3 nautical mile flight restriction applies from an hour before to an hour after covered events. Reno-Stead Airport north of the city can have temporary flight restrictions during major events, so we check NOTAMs for event dates.
Airports and federal sites
Reno-Tahoe International sits under Class C airspace southeast of downtown, and the Nevada Air National Guard base there is a federal no-drone area, closed from the ground to 400 feet around the clock. NAS Fallon and its ranges to the east are federal no-drone areas. We check every Reno location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.

Can you fly FPV through a Reno casino resort?
Yes, with the property's approval and a route agreed with security and staff.
Can you fly at Mackay Stadium on event days?
Not inside the FAA stadium flight restriction, which covers 3 nautical miles from an hour before to an hour after covered events, unless we are part of the approved production.
Can you fly FPV near Reno-Tahoe International?
Only with FAA authorization. It has Class C airspace and an Air National Guard base.
Can FPV footage go live to a stream or screens?
Yes. We send live FPV video to the stream, LED screens or a broadcast truck, and agree the format with your production team before the event.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
