Spokane, WA Live Event and Concert Drones

Live event drones in Spokane

This page is for event producers, promoters and venues planning a live event in Spokane. We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. For homes, tourism and general aerials see our Spokane, WA drone videographer page.

Festivals and Riverfront Park

Our crew has flown the aerial livestream at Outside Lands in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco since 2023. Spokane's downtown festivals and Riverfront Park events suit the same coverage inside the organizer's plan. Spokane city parks, including Riverfront Park, generally allow drone flights flown safely under FAA rules, but commercial filming in a city park needs a city filming permit and fee, which we arrange before the event. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.

Arenas and college sports

Arena shows and college sports are flown with the venue's approval, using small drones indoors. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Airports and Fairchild

Spokane International sits under Class C airspace west of downtown, and Felts Field to the east has its own control tower and Class D airspace. Fairchild Air Force Base west of the city has its own Class C airspace and is a federal no-drone area, closed from the ground to 400 feet around the clock. Wildfire temporary flight restrictions can close large areas in summer and fall, and flying into one is illegal. We check every Spokane location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.

Permits

We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.
