Live event drones in Fort Wayne

This page is for event producers, promoters and venues planning a live event in Fort Wayne. We fly concerts, festivals, parades, arena shows, races and brand activations, with drone feeds sent live to screens, the stream or a broadcast truck, plus fast edits for social. For homes, tourism and general aerials see our Fort Wayne, IN drone videographer page.

Tournaments and broadcast

Our crew flew live broadcast drone work for the T-Mobile 5G Range Show at the 2024 PGA Championship. Tournaments and sports events in Fort Wayne suit the same live coverage inside the production plan. See Live drone feeds for video boards and Concert and festival FPV drones across the US.

Arenas and riverfront festivals

Riverfront festivals and downtown events are flown inside the organizer's plan, and inside arenas we fly small drones with the venue's approval. Flying directly over an open crowd is only allowed when the drone and the operation meet FAA rules for flying over people, so otherwise we keep flight paths over the stage, closed areas and open lanes. Fully enclosed indoor flights are generally outside FAA airspace rules, so we fly one-take fly-throughs with the owner's approval; see indoor fly-through tours.

Federal sites and airspace

The Fort Wayne Air National Guard Base at the airport is a federal no-drone area around the clock, and Grissom Air Reserve Base, west of the city near Peru, is too. Fort Wayne International, about 7 miles southwest of downtown, has Class C airspace, so many Fort Wayne addresses need LAANC. We check every Fort Wayne location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it. We confirm local permits, venue rules and airspace authorizations before every job.
