Golf and real estate
Grand Strand golf courses and the communities around them read best from above, and we fly courses with the club's permission. Beachfront condos and homes are filmed with the owner's or HOA's approval.
Events and attractions
Summer festivals, concerts and attractions along the boardwalk draw large crowds. For festivals, concerts and attractions we film recaps, and for larger shows we send live drone feeds to the stream or screens; see live broadcast drones and concert and festival drones. Shoots in Myrtle Beach and Horry County can need a local film permit, which we request through the South Carolina Film Commission.
Airspace
Myrtle Beach International Airport is inside the city and has a control tower, so much of Myrtle Beach is controlled airspace that needs LAANC or FAA authorization. We check every Myrtle Beach location on the FAA sectional, B4UFLY and NOTAMs before quoting, and file LAANC or FAA authorization for any address that needs it.
