Frequently asked questions
What does Air Views Media do?
Air Views Media flies live broadcast drones, FPV cinematography and one-take indoor fly-through tours for TV, sports, music festivals, brands and venues. We also help clients secure FAA waivers and airspace approvals.
Can your drones feed a live broadcast or a stadium video board?
Yes. A COFDM transmitter on the drone sends a clean feed to the truck, and the truck controls the camera through Cyanview RCP. Our aerials have gone live on FOX, Hulu and Prime Video, and we have sent live feeds to the video boards for the Atlanta Braves and Mississippi State football.
Can you fly drones in restricted airspace?
Yes, when the approvals are in place. At the FIFA Fan Festival in Atlanta, we flew inside a Temporary Flight Restriction with permissions from more than seven organizations, including the FAA, FBI and DHS.
Can you fly drones indoors?
Yes. We build micro drones in house for tight interiors such as hotels, arenas and ships. At UNITY at the Sphere in Las Vegas, our sub-100-gram drones sent a live feed to the interior screen.
What insurance do you carry?
Liability is $10M standard, with optional coverage up to $25M. Certificates of insurance are issued for networks, Live Nation events and venues.
