Augusta, GA Concert and Festival Drone Filming
Air Views Media films concerts and festivals in Augusta with FPV and aerial drones, for recap videos, artist content and live feeds to screens and streams. We're headquartered in Augusta and fly the same way we did at EDC, Sphere, Live Nation events, Art Basel Miami and Miami Music Week.
Augusta stages we fly
Augusta has a full calendar: Arts in the Heart of Augusta downtown each September, the Westobou Festival, concerts on the Augusta Common and along the Riverwalk, shows at Bell Auditorium, the Miller Theater and James Brown Arena, and the pavilion at Evans Towne Center Park in Columbia County. Each has its own sight lines, power drops and crowd layout, and we plan our flight lines around them with the production manager.
What we capture
FPV over the crowd into the stage, slow aerial reveals of the festival grounds at golden hour, sponsor activations from above, and artist-walk-on follow shots. For artists, we cut vertical clips for social; for promoters, a recap and a B-roll library. See how this looks at bigger shows on concert and festival FPV.
Live on the screens
Festivals increasingly want the drone on the IMAG screens and the stream, not only in the recap. We feed a live FPV or aerial signal to the video team, the same approach as our FPV live broadcast work. Read about it on Augusta live broadcast drones.
Crowds, waivers and airspace
Flying over an audience is the most regulated part of a concert shoot. We fly over people only where our FAA waivers and the event's safety plan allow, and otherwise hold flight lines along the stage edge and perimeter. Downtown Augusta is in controlled airspace near Daniel Field, so we file authorization early, and we coordinate with event security and fire marshals on launch zones.

FAQs
Can you fly over the crowd at an Augusta concert?
Only where our FAA waivers, the venue and the event safety plan allow. When over-crowd flight isn't permitted, we design shots along the stage edge and perimeter that still read as immersive.
Can the drone feed go on the festival screens?
Yes. We deliver a live FPV or aerial signal to the video team for IMAG screens and the live stream.
How fast do we get social clips?
When it is planned into the shoot, we can turn around vertical selects the same night; the full recap follows.
What insurance do you carry?
Our standard policy is $10M liability, with optional coverage up to $25M when a venue, league or network requires it. Certificates naming your venue or production are issued before the shoot.
Are you local to Augusta?
Yes. Augusta is our headquarters, so local events don't carry flights or hotels. Call 706-284-8364.

Tell us the venue, the date and whether you need a live feed, and we'll come back with an airspace check and a quote. Call 706-284-8364 or Request a Quote.
